I work in drawing, painting and sculpture. My work is inspired by nothing more than the spontaneous mark-making, brush work and drawing. In my work, the line decides, because I do not subscribe to the idea of being a conceptual artist of sorts. This divorce from a conceptual framework frees my art so that I can marvel in its playful, organic fluidity. My own success criteria are direct, immediate connection with the viewers, instead of trying to provoke certain reactions or impose agendas.
I am an art graduate and practicing artist.
